Trajectory Check & Control

The goal is to check the safety of planned trajectories and, if necessary, to replan the trajectory in order to guarantee safe behavior of the vehicle. Therefore, the following tasks need to be fulfilled:

  • Plausibility check of internal and environmental sensor data
  • Calculation of driving dynamics limits and physical feasibility check of the currently planned trajectory
  • Check of objects that may come critically close to the planned trajectory
  • Trajectory control and actuator setting
